Apollo Astronauts Mark 40th Anniversary Of First Moon Landing

I was in a 400-year-old farmhouse in the New Forest area in the south of England when the original moon walk happened 40 years ago.

If you saw it, you would also remember. Amazing. Even on black and white TV. I was 16.

Today, my 15 1/2-year-old daughter took her first drive around the neighborhood in a car. I’ll always remember this, too. I give her credit, she’s gung ho to learn a stick. Other than the vans, that’s all she’s got to learn on, so I’m glad she’s into it.
