Blind zones and backover accidents.
This Consumer Reports article is a must read. The blind zones behind our vehicles are much longer than you may suspect, which can lead to tragedy. I checked this with my toddler and its horrifying. The blind zone is why you should always be very careful whenever you are backing up or—as in a parking lot—walking behind vehicles, especially pickup trucks.
