The only point I disagree with Ebert on is that these fringers don’t trust authority. Not so, or else they would have railed against Bush. I think it’s just the opposite… Read More—they *thrive* on authoritarian rule. What they can’t tolerate is *nurturing* rule that allows for diversity of thought, and tolerates dissent, such as Obama’s style of leadership. They also want to dictate the rules to everyone else. These people are not “live and let live” types like Obama, most Democrats and the few sane Republicans left standing.
