Wow, a 2006 study by economics professor Elliott Parker at the University fo Nevada, Reno shows that the economy faries better under Democratic rule rather than Republican:

“Meanwhile, Jeb Bush is just the latest conservative to accuse Barack Obama of being a “socialist”, a “communist” or worse. Unfortunately for Jeb and his fellow Republican propagandists, the words of Harry Truman are as true today as when he uttered them generations ago: ‘If you want to live like a Republican, vote Democratic.’”
