Gardening as a dangerous sport

Yesterday, I gashed the inside of my left ankle somehow while gardening in sandals. I thought I would be OK to rollerblade, but this morning, I skated around the Marina, and it was quite painful. Shuffling off  to the Alumni Skate Night now. Yikes!
